$Ag \to Ag^{+} + e^{-} ; \quad E^{\circ} = - 0.800\, V$
What is the value of log $K_{sp}$ for Agl ?

Solution:

$AgI\left(s\right) + e^{-} \,{\rightleftharpoons}\,Ag\left(s\right) + I^{-}; E^{\circ} = - 0.152+Ag \left(s\right)\to Ag^{+} + e^{-}\quad\quad E^{\circ} = - 0.8$
$Agl\left(s\right) \to Ag^{+} + I^{-} \quad E^{\circ} = - 0.952$
$E^{\circ}_{cell} = \frac{0.059}{n} log\,K_{sp}$
$- 0.952 = \frac{0.059}{1} log\,K_{sp}$
$log\,K_{sp} = \frac{-0.952}{0.059} = -16.135$
