Solution:

1. Guard cell Stomatal guard cells control the pore to balance $CO_2$ entry into the leaf for photosynthesis with water loss through transpiration. It also regulates membrane transport, signalling and homeostasis.
2. Stomatal pore It allows $CO_2$ to diffuse into leaf for photosynthesis.
3. Subsidiary cell These are accessory cells to guard cells. They play an important role in ion-channel mediated opening and closing of guard cells.
4. Epidermal cell Provides protection to the plants from the external environment.
