"Gametes are never hybrid". This is a statement of law of segregation. This law states that two factor of a character present in an individual keep their identity distinct (separate) at the time of gametogenesis or sporogenesis and get randomly distributed to different gametes and then get paired again in different offspring as per the principle of probability.
