Adrenaline and Noradrenaline are excitatory hormones, produced by the adrenal gland, more specifically the adrenal medulla, that are catecholamines in nature. These hormones when produced in the human body cause an increase in cardiac activity, cardiac output, respiratory rate etc.
Vagus is the 10th cranial nerve and is parasympathetic in function and it conserves energy by causing a decrease in cardiac activity, cardiac output, respiratory rate etc.
Sympathetic nerves are adrenergic nerves or excitatory nerves, which cause an increase in cardiac activity, cardiac output, respiratory rate etc.
