Solution:

We have, $\quad \frac{1}{u}+\frac{1}{v}=\frac{1}{f}$
or $\frac{1}{v}=-\frac{1}{u}+\frac{1}{f}$
Now, compare it with equation, $y=m x+c$.
Therefore, graph is a straight line having negative slope.
