Solution:

Only ethyne react with ammonical $AgNO _{3}$ solution to give white ppt. of silver acetylide. It is due to having little acidic character.
$HC \equiv CH +2 AgNO _{3}+2 NH _{4} OH \rightarrow \underset{\text{white}}{AgC \equiv CAg} \downarrow +2AH_4NO_2 + 2H_2O$
