Q. For the reaction; $A+B\rightleftharpoons3C$ , at $25^\circ C$ , a $3$ litre vessel contains $1,2,4$ moles of $A,B$ and $C$ respectively. If $K_{c}$ , for the reaction is $10$ , the reaction will proceed in:

Solution:

$A+B\rightleftharpoons3C$
$t=0124=\frac{1}{3}\frac{2}{3}\frac{4}{3}K_{C}=10$
$Q_{C}=\frac{\left[\right. C \left]\right.^{3}}{\left[\right. A \left]\right. \left[\right. B \left]\right.}$
$=\frac{\left(\frac{4}{3}\right)^{3}}{\left(\frac{1}{3}\right) \left(\frac{2}{3}\right)}$
$=\frac{64 \times 9}{27 \times 2}=\frac{64}{6}=10.6$
$\boxed{Q_{c} > K_{c}}$
