The resistance of the circuit
$ \frac{1}{R}=\frac{1}{(2+2+2)}+\frac{1}{2}=\frac{2}{3} $
$ R=1.5\,\Omega $
$ I=\frac{E}{R}=\frac{1.5}{1.5}=1A $
