Solution:

$g'=\frac{GM}{R^{3}}.r$
$=\frac{GM}{R^{2}}. \frac{r}{R}=g. \frac{1}{R}$
$=9.8\times\frac{2000}{6400}=9.8\times\frac{20}{64}=3.06 m/s^{2}$
