Solution:

Animals comprise more than 70% of all recorded species. Plants and fungi comprise less than 12% of the total species known. Insect group in the animal kingdom have a high number of varieties and comprise of more than 70% of the total animal types recorded. Thus, out of every 70 animals, 49 will be insects. The variety of fungal species in the world is more than that of all vertebrates together.
