Oviduct has four regions, infundibulum, ampulla, isthmus and uterine part. Ampulla is major pan of fallopian tube and is the site for fertilization. Isthmus is very short, narrow, straight part, follows the ampulla. Infundibulum is the broad, runnel shaped proximal part. Its margin bears motile, finger like process called fimbriae.
