Q. Equilibrium constant K is related to $E_{c e l l}^{o}$ and not $E_{c e l l}$ because

Solution:

At equilibrium, $E_{c e l l}$ becomes zero which means no current is generated by the cell at this point. $E_{c e l l}^{o}$ remains constant hence equilibrium constant is related to $E_{c e l l}^{o}$ .
