Emulsification of fat is facilitated by
UP CPMTUP CPMT 2001

Bile is a fluid produced by vertebrate liver cell (hepatocytes), containing both secretory and excretory products. It contains bile salts (eg. sodium taurocholate and glycocholate) which emulsify fat, increasing its surface area for lipolytic activity.
