During the process of double fertilisation in plants, one of the male gametes moves towards the egg cell & fuses with its nucleus & this process results in the formation of diploid cell called zygote, the other male gamete moves toward the two polar nuclerl which is located in the centeral cell & fused with the polar nucleiresult in the formation of triploid primary endosperm nucleus.
