Haryana PMTHaryana PMT 2003
Solution:
Cytoplasmic inheritance is the inheritance caused by the small group of genes located in cell organelles like mitochondria in the cytoplasm. This inheritance does not follow Mendelian heredity. It shows uniparental mode of transmission. It shows characteristics of only one of the two parents, usually the female parent. It is also called as maternal inheritance as it always shows maternal characters.
