Solution:

Generally some of the viruses are found, which attack on blue-green algae. These viruses are usually called cyanophages. Cyanophaget contain DNA as their genetic material. These viruses resembles with bacteriophages in morphology and behaviour. Safferman and Morris reported $11$ filamentous form of blue-green algae.
