The Merino rams are among the most relevant and economical breeds of sheep, much prized for its wool. It is a fine breed of sheep developed in Hisar, Punjab. It has a white body and produces good quality wool. It is also raised for its meat. Hisardale is such a breed of sheep developed in Punjab by cross-breeding. Marino ram and Bikaneri ewe. Bikaneri ewes are known as the only lustrous carpet wool-producing breed.
Solution
Whereas, Lohi rams is found in South Punjab. It is a sheep known for its quality of wool. Nellore rams is also a variety of sheep. It's mutton is tasty and has good demand for it.
