Q. Consider the two reactions :
(i) $H_{2}O_{2} +2 KI \to I_{2}+2KOH$
(ii) $H_{2}O_{2} +O_{3} \to2O_{2}+H_{2}O$
$H_{2}O_{2} $ behaves as

Hydrogen

Solution:

$H_{2}O_{2} $ oxidises KI to $I_{2}$ and reduces $O_{3} \, to \,O_{2} \, gas.$
