Since, noble gases have stable configuration ( $ \text{4}\times \text{1}{{0}^{\text{6}}}\text{V} $ in case of helium and $ n{{s}^{2}}n{{p}^{6}} $ in case of others), hence their ionisation energy is maximum in their respective periods, hence formation of compounds is not easy, Then, (I) is incorrect. Compounds are covalent. Thus (II) is correct and (IV) is incorrect $ -{{F}_{k}} $ have variable oxidation states of $ F(\hat{i}-\hat{j}) $ . Thus, (III) is also correct.
