Compound '$A$' (molecular formula $C _{3} H _{8} O$ ) is isopropyl alcohol. Compound ' $B$ ' (molecular formula $C _{3} H _{6} O$ ) is acetone. With concentrated sulphuric acid acetone form mesitylene.
