Pupa of mosquito is aquatic and active. lne body of pupa is comma shaped and is divided into a large cephalothorax and a slender bent abdomen. The abdomen is made up of $9 $ segments.
Larva of mosquito is about $1\, mm$ in length and the body is divided into three parts, the head, thorax and abdomen and known as wriggler larva.
During metamorphosis, pupa modifies into an imago form.
