ART's (Assisted Reproductive Technologies) are various techniques which help couples to have children. Examples of such techniques are GIFT (Gamete Intra Fallopian Transfer), ZIFT (Zygote Intra Fallopian Transfer), AI (Artificial Insemination), IUT (Intra Uterine Transfer), ICSI (Intra Cytoplasmic Sperm Injection) etc. In ZIFT the ova and sperms are collected in a dish and induced to form zygote and this is then transferred into the fallopian tube or uterus depending upon the number of blastomeres being less than 8 or more than 8 respectively.
