The telocentric chromosome has centromere at the end of the chromosome and in the acrocentric chromosome, the centromere is near the end. These centromeres are present in the primary constriction and all chromosomes have primary constriction but some chromosomes during metaphase also show secondary constrictions that are called a satellite. They are present in some chromosome and help to identify the chromosome from others.
