Solution:

The blue-green algae are prokaryotic and unicelled to filamentous. They have the chief photosynthetic pigments as chlorophyll-$a$, $ \beta $ -carotene, myxoxanthin, lutein, $C$-phycocyanin, $C$-phycoerythrin and allophy cocyanin.
In green algae (Spirogyra)and bryophytes, the chief photosynthetic pigments are chlorophyll-$a, b$, carotene and xanthophyll.
