Solution:

Due to formation of stronger intermolecular H-bonding in carboxylic acid, association occurs. Hence, boiling point increases and become more than the boiling point of aldehydes, ketones and alcohols of comparable molecular masses.

Acid > alcohol > aldehyde > ketone
