Solution:

Callose is polysaccharide having repeating units of beta glucose with $\beta \, \left(1 \rightarrow 3\right)$ glycosidic bonds with some $\beta \, \left(1 \rightarrow 6\right)$ branches. Callose is produced during pollen grain formation, cell plate formation and also as a stress response. Callose present in the endothecium helps in dispersion of pollen grains.
