Solution:
When the solution of a weak electrolyte is diluted, the volume of the solution and degree of dissociation of electrolyte increases, hence equivalent conductivity $\left(\lambda_{c}\right)$ increases. However, during this process, the number of current carrying particles per unit volume decreases, hence specific conductivity $\left( K _{ c }\right)$ decreases.
