Psidium (vern-guava) belong to family-Myrtaceae'. It has both. types of leaves, i.e., opposite decussate and opposite superposed leaves. Opposite decussate two successive opposite pairs of leaves occur at right angle to each other opposite superposed. All the successive opposite pairs of leaves occur at same plane.
