Q. Blind spot in an eye is part where

NTA AbhyasNTA Abhyas 2020

Solution:

Blind spot is present in the retina of human eye.
It is that place from where optic nerve and some blood vessels exit.
So at this place neither the cones nor the rods are present making it insensitive to perceive light ( for both dim and bright ).
So light falling on this part of the retina does not form image, thus making it the 'Blind Spot'.
