Homeostasis is the tendency of the biological system to resist changes and to remain in a state of equilibrium. Biological equilibrium can be maintained between producer, consumer and decomposers. The producers, fixes the light energy into chemical form. This is transferred to consumers and decomposers in form of organic food. The consumers are also ultimately decomposed by the micro-organisms.
