$C_6H_6 + 3Cl_2 \xrightarrow[\text{or bright sun light}]{\text{Sun light}} \underset{(BHC)or}{C_6H_6Cl_6}$
$666$ or lindane $C_{6} H_{6} C l_{6}$ is benzene hex chloride or $666$ , a well known insecticides. It exists in eight isomeric crystalline forms namely $\alpha, \beta, \gamma$ etc. Out of these $\gamma$-isomer is most effective and used as insecticide under the name of gammaxene or lindane.
