$ \Rightarrow \frac{d^{2} y}{d t^{2}}=-\left(\frac{2 g}{L}\right) y$
or $\omega^{2}=\frac{2 g}{L} \Rightarrow T=2 \pi \sqrt{\frac{L}{2 g}}$
