NTA AbhyasNTA Abhyas 2020Respiration in Plants

Solution:

Yeast undergoes alcoholic fermentation to releases less energy due to anaerobic respiration. It produces ethyl alcohol as a by-product and releases carbon dioxide. At 13% concentration of alcohol yeast starts poisoning itself. This situation does not occur in aerobic respiration because of oxidation reaction.
