Q. At $18^{\circ}$C, the conductance of $H^+$ and $CH_3COO^-$ at infinite dilution are $315$ and $35\, mho\, cm^ 2\, eq^{-1}$ respectively. The equivalent conductivity of $CH_3COOH$ at infinite dilution is _____ $mho\,cm^ 2\,eq^{-1}$

Solution:

$ \Lambda_{ CH _{3} COOH }^{\infty} =\lambda_{ H ^{+}}^{\infty}+\lambda_{ CH _{3} COO ^{-}}^{0} $
$=(35+315) mho \,cm ^{2} equ ^{-1} $
$=350\, mho\, cm ^{2} equ ^{-1}$
