Q. Assertion Zoospores in Chlamydomonas are frequently formed in the night during favourable conditions.
Reason Zoospore swim for a certain time and then grows into a new plant.

Solution:

Initially zoospores are naked (without cell wall) but as soon as these are liberated, flagella and new cell wall developed. Thus, each zoospore is complete replica of parent cell.
