Solution:

Xerophyte is a group of specific plants, which have adaptic for xeric habitats, i.e., these plants occur in soil which do not have sufficient amount of water. These plants have developed some specific structure such as thick cuticle, sunken stomata waxy coating. Hair surface for minimizing the process of transpiration which is a main source of water loss in form of vapours in mesophytes.
