Q. Assertion : The kinetic energy of photoelectron ejected increases with the frequency of incident light.
Reason : Increase in intensity of incident light increases the photoelectric current.

Structure of Atom

Solution:

K.E. $=h\left(v-v_0\right) ;$ K.E. increases linearly with $v$, the frequency. The rate of emission of photoelectrons i.e., the photoelectric current is directly proportional to the rate of impinging photons i.e. the intensity of light.
