Due to the absence of unpaired electron in $NO ^{+}$ and $N _{2}$, both are diamagnetic
total no. of $e ^{-}$ in $NO =6+8=14$
total no. of $e ^{-}$ in $N _{2}=7+7=14$
Thercfore, both are isoelectronic.
