Q. Assertion : Electrons move away from a region of lower potential to a region of higher potential.
Reason : Since an electron has a negative charge.

Solution:

Suppose $A$ and $B$ are two regions having potcntials $V_{1}$ and $V_{2}$ such that $V_{1}>V_{2}$. So the clectric field will be set up from $A$ to $B$ (i.e. from higher potential to lower potential). Now since the electron has got a negative charge, the force experienced by the electron will be in a direction opposite to the direction of the electric field. Hence the electrons move from a region of lower potential to a region of higher potential due to their negative charges.
