In the cell, $DNA$ molecules (i.e. Deoxyribose Nucleic acid) are present predominatly in the nucleus, some $DNA$ is also present in the mitochondria in Eukaryotes.

$RNA$ molecules (i.e. Ribose nucleic acid) are present in cytoplasm of the eukaryotes and in nucleus in some prokaryotes and virus.
