Q. Assertion: Although both, a stone and a feather, are dropped from the same elevation, they do not reach the ground at the same time.
Reason: Acceleration due to gravity, depending upon the mass of the object, varies from object to object.

NTA AbhyasNTA Abhyas 2020

Solution:

Acceleration due to gravity is independent of the mass of the object. The stone and feather dropped from the same height do not reach the ground at the same time because of air resistance.
