Q. Assertion $(A)$ Osmotic pressure $0.1\,N$ urea solution is less than that of $0.1\,M$ $NaCl$ solution
Reason $(R)$ Osmotic pressure is not a colligative property.

AIIMSAIIMS 2015

Solution:

$NaCl $ is an electrolyte which on dissociation give two ions. Whereas urea is not an electrolyte. Hence, osmotic pressure of $0.1\,M \,NaCl$ is almost double than that of $0.1\,M$ urea solution.
