Q. Assertion $(A)$ Above Curie temperature, a ferromagnetic material becomes paramagnetic.
Reason $(R)$ When a magnetic material is heated to very high temperature, it loses its magnetic properties.

AIIMSAIIMS 2015

Solution:

Above Curie temperature $T_{C}$, the magnetic susceptibility of a ferromagnetic material varies as
$\chi_{m} \propto \frac{1}{T-T_{C}}$
when temperature is increased beyond $T_{C}$, ferromagnetic material becomes paramagnetic.
