Solution:
• Wall of larynx is made up of $9$ cartilages.
• $3$ cartilages found unpaired (thyroid, epiglottis and cricoid cartilage) and $3$ are paired (arytenoid, cuneiform and Corniculate cartilages).
• Thyroid cartilage is the largest cartilage of larynx. The mid-ventral projection of thyroid cartilage form Adam's apple (Laryngeal Prominence)
• Larynx contains vocal cords which are the sound producing elastic fibres. In women and children voice .is high-pitched while in men voice is low-pitched.
