NTA AbhyasNTA Abhyas 2022
Solution:
Aromatic primary amines can be distinguished from aliphatic primary amines by the azo dye test. When aromatic amines react with nitrous acid in the presence of $NaNO_{2}/HCl$ at a very lower temperature, diazonium salt is formed, which is not possible in the case of aliphatic primary amines.
