Solution:

$\underset{\text { Aniline }}{ C _{6} H _{5} NH _{2}}+\underset{\text{Chloroform}}{CHCl_3} +3KOH\longrightarrow \underset{\text{Phenyl isocyanide (bad smell)}}{C_6H_5NC} + 3KCl +3H_2O$
Thus, phenyl isocyanide is formed.
