$\cos \,\theta=\frac{(\hat{i}+\hat{j}) \cdot(\hat{i}-\hat{j})}{|\hat{i}+\hat{j} \| \hat{i}-\hat{j}|}=\frac{1-1}{\sqrt{2} \cdot \sqrt{2}}=0$
$\Rightarrow \theta=90^{\circ}$
