Q. An LCR series circuit is connected to an oscillator (AC supply) having RMS voltage $200 \, V$ . If the RMS voltages across resistor, inductor and capacitor are equal, then RMS voltage across the resistor would be

Solution:

$\because \, \, V=\sqrt{\left(V_{R}\right)^{2} + \left(V_{L} - V_{C}\right)^{2}}=V_{R}\left(\because V_{L} = V_{C}\right)$
$V_{R}=V=200 \, volt$
