When an ether solution of benzoic acid $(A)$ aniline $(B)$ and toluene $(C)$ is extracted with aqueous $NaOH$, then the benzoic acid $(A)$ is dissolved in aqueous $NaOH$. Therefore, the ether layer will contain aniline $(B)$ and toluene $(C)$.
