Q. An electric discharge is passed through a mixture containing $50ml$ of $O_{2 \left(\right. g \left.\right)}$ and $50ml$ of $H_{2 \left(\right. g \left.\right)}$ . The volume of the product $\left(H_{2} O\right)$ formed at $110^\circ C$ will be. (Identical conditions of temperature and pressure):-

Solution:

$\underset{50}{2 H_{2}}+\underset{50}{O_{2}} \rightarrow 2H_{2}O\left(\right.g\left.\right)$
$H_{2}$ is limiting regent so,
volume of $H_{2}O\left(\right.g\left.\right)$ produced $=50mL$
